In celebration of Earth Day, we asked the Garrity Tools team to come up with some ideas for tools you can make yourself at home. With sustainability in mind, we wanted each tool to be crafted from reclaimed materials as well — it was a fun challenge!

We know that ceramicists are known for their ingenuity and resourcefulness, and we've seen so many unique handmade tools in studios all over the country.

Hopefully this fun little video gives you some inspiration for crafting a few custom tools yourself and making use of the tons and tons of resources that end up in the landfill each year.
