The Ruler tool is designed to help you measure on the wheel to create consistent sets of pots, bowls, mugs, and more. Use the measuring side of the ruler to make subtle lines in your wall. Trim at the mark you’d like and then smooth away the lines with the opposite side of the ruler. Maybe you’ll leave the lines on for a bit of texture or use this as your benchmark to cut while you’re hand-building. This pottery tool is multifunctional and the possibilities are endless!
