The Bringle Tool was designed by Cynthia Bringle when she was a student at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Bringle went back and forth from the woodshop to the clay studio, refining the prototype for this tool with every trip. Eventually, the tool was perfected! Over the years, numbers of woodworkers have crafted the shape, pottery students have traced it in notebooks, and many have dubbed it the Bringle Magic Tool.
Now, the Garrity Team is honored to bring this tool into our permanent collection as a charity tool, where all sales from the tool will be donated to CERF+.
Cynthia Bringle is a prolific potter, teacher, and mentor. Bringle has worked with clay since the 1960s and has found ways to inspire ceramicists through her openness to share her work and expertise at Penland School of Craft, in workshops at prominent craft schools around the world, and in her own pottery studio.
All sales from the Bringle Tool will be donated to CERF+. When you purchase The Bringle Tool, $16 dollars is donated to this essential organization that provides emergency relief for craft artists.
